A Thrilling Retelling of David's Life Greg Baker is truly a gifted author retelling a scripturally accurate account of David's life with realistic fictional details to fill out the stories. These are the kind of books I would have craved in my mid to late teenage years. They are thrilling, full of excitement, battle, challenges and victories, and a bit of romance too!Christian parents, these books will help bring the Bible to life for your kids, but don't think they are just kids books. I have adult children myself, and I'm having trouble putting the books down.

Excellent series! These books are fantastic! The thing I like best are all the scriptural references in them. This is my second time going through this series...They are very well written!

Very Enjoyable Read I love the story of David! He would be the one character from the Bible I would love to meet. After reading Anointed, I had to keep going with the next book in the series to see where the author was going with the story. I have to say, it has been really enjoyable, and as soon as I send this, I will be ordering the next book.The added characters and ability the author has to paint a picture of David's life is outstanding. I would recommend this series to any fan of David.

Valiant Indeed!! I am thoroughly enjoying this tale of King David. I have studied the scripture involved in this series and find it engaging and inspiring. Greg Baker brings the characters to life while honoring the scripture that tells the story. The ending of this episode was thrilling.

Riveting! I love the story of David & this author is gifted in making this story come alive with his gift of words! Enjoyed every minute.

Good Use Of Realistic & Believable Characters I love the characters' expressions of realistic emotions and thoughts. The friendships and loyalties are expressed beautifully and the result is a kinship you can feel yourself forming with them. I felt myself becoming invested in the lives and choices of the people surrounding David. It was hit wrenching at times and full of joy at others.I enjoyed the faith of David being described in his own words at times but mostly on his thoughts as he worked out his next action within himself. It is much the same way we remind ourselves of how and why we are doing what our minds are rebelling against in the natural world.Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Must read...I love delving deeper into biblical history and this series inspires time in scriptures. While not biblical history in itself, glimpsing into scriptures intertwined with historical fiction, what a mix!I highly recommend this series,..

Love these stories I began this series with The Anointed and loved that one so much I bought the remains 4 books in this beautifully written series. I just finished Valiant and am ready to.move on to Fugitive. Even though you know the story of David this biblical fiction will pull you into the lives of these men and women. It's very worth reading I do not think you would be disappointed

Gifted realistic spellbinding novel. This novel tells the story of war, betrayal, friendship, loyalty, family, love, hate, and foe. It is impressively geographically and emotionally accurate to the Bible and to human tendencies. It brings to life the Biblical account and pulls you right into the story as if you were really there. Very well written.
